The Master's on Photonic Integrated Circuits, Sensors and Networks (PIXNET) opens a call for 'Visiting Scholars'. Weekly scholarships of € 2000 each. Applications by the 3rd of February, 2020
For each student intake, within the Master’s on Photonic Integrated Circuits, Sensors and Networks (Pixnet), the consortium, coordinated by the Institute of Communication, information and perception technologies of the Sant’Anna School, offers the opportunity to scholars/guest lecturers from EU and Third-Country higher education institutions or research organizations to carry out research and teaching period within the Master’s in one of its Institutions (Aston University, Osaka University, Technische Universiteit Eindhoven and Sant’Anna School).
For each student intake, the PIXNET consortium invites scholar/guest lecturers from EU and Third-Country higher education institutions or research organizations to carry out research and teaching activities within the PIXNET Masters Course. They can apply for Erasmus+ scholarships.
Visiting scholars must hold an outstanding academic and/or professional profile and their involvement will bring added value to each student intake in terms of student-centred teaching/lecturing, research activities, Master thesis support, academic/professional networking, etc.
The guest lecturers will be recruited in order to strengthen links and support the Consortium’s institutional strategies for internationalisation. The aim is to promote the PIXNET programme around the world, as an opportunity to learn and develop photonics in the European area.
Call for applications will be open until the 3rd February 2020.
Both EU candidates and no-EU candidates are eligible for application.
